ATC Swap

So I am taking a break from cleaning my kitchen. Seriously, I LOATH white kitchen cabinets and appliances....with kids and dogs...almost impossible to keep clean and I hate to have to wash them almost daily.

But anyway.....today we had to do our swap with the ATC's thru Outside the Box Designs on GDS, links are all on the side of my blog, I'm being lazy and don't feel like linking today!!!!

So here was mine!

I used mostly Outside of the Box Designs, but I also used a few (umbrella, drops and pattern in cloud) from Simply You, Simply Me Chance of Rain kit. My partner hasn't finished hers yet, but will post when she does!!!

Of course I made a few others, can't just make one! ATC's are like potato chips! So here are a few others!

These are all done using elements from Outside the Box Design Studio. I have no idea which kits as I own ALL of their kits so I was mixing!

The following ATC's were made using kits by CrowAbout Designs from Deviant Scrap

Ok so I am Addicted to Digital Scrapping & Art Journalling!

Just finished my "Decorate your Desktop Challenge" at GDS. I already did one once this month for my mom before I left NY...she wanted something with all the kids on it.

Here is the one I did for her:

I dont normally do "pretty" but I really liked how this came out!!!

So I did one for myself, I used a kit called MudPies and Finger Paint by Outside The Box Design Studio.

I think it came out pretty cute!!!

I also fell in love with a kit from Eena's Creations that I got at Deviant Scrap called "All the Small Things" and used it to created these. (There are also element in these layouts from TumbleFish Studios and Beth Rimmer, both of which can be found at Deviant Scrap, but there are also elements in them from Lisa's Altered Art and Itkupilli)

ATC ~ Artist Trading Card Fun

I have been working on a lot of things lately. Trying to finish up some challenges at sites I have never posted at before. I am usually addicted to GDS but find that I am getting braver about posting. I actually posted three ATCs at Deviant Scrap and they got really good comments..so thats a plus!!!

Here are a couple that I posted. Just for fun!

When I saw this little altered doll by NB CrowAbout Designs (Courageous Me Kit), it reminded me of all the people that go to Walmart in their PJ's!! Personally I have never gone ANYWHERE but possibly the mail box in my jammies...but hey to each their own.

These next two are also made with elements from NB CrowAbout Designs kit Courageous Me (found at DeviantScrap)

I have quite a few more but many of them are made with the new workshop materials from Outside the Box Design Studio.  The workshop isnt starting until Feb 1st, but am so glad that I got to see the materials early!!! Benefit of being one of her CTs!  So of course I already have two pages made, two quick pages made along with several ATCs.  We will also be having a blog train as well at the end of the month so that should be fun!!!

I am NOT a Princess!!

Ok...so I finished my first lesson for my class tonight...but I cant post it for some reason GDS isnt loading!! Grrr....So while waiting, I decided to play around with this really cute kit called  Not A Princess by Marta Van Eck. I just love the colors! It is so bright and fun!

I am thinking I have to make more stuff with this kit!!!

Ok for my Week 4 Lesson 1 we are learning how to wrap ribbons. I ended up using  Les idées de Christine~ Reves Chap 1 Kit that I got from GDS...again I love the colors in this kit!! Muted shabby pinks. Not really sure if the frame really GOES with this kit, but I am more about doing what I feel like doing at the moment. I do have some elements in this layout from HollieWood (Deviant Scrap) and BooLand Purple Haze.

But overall I guess I am happy with it.

We are all packed up and heading back home in the morning. While I am so sad to leave, it will be nice to get home and to my own computer. I have had a hard time working with my mother's mouse, I am used to my roller ball...although I really need to use my pen and tablet thing...I need to try it anyway!!

Midnight Art Journal

Have I mentioned that I really hate packing? I always just want to bring nothing with us and buy everything when we get there...but my husband says no!! The big meanie! LOL....soooo I am supposed to be packing for our trip home for Christmas...nothing like having to remember every little thing for four people and two dogs! So..I am stalling and decided to do an Art Journal page...

I hadnt used Painted Ladies by Outside the Box yet..so I thought I would crack it open. I grabbed some elements from some other Outside the Box kits too...since I ALMOST have them all!

To be honest, I have no meaning for this. I was just using elements that I liked...ohh I almost forgot...the books are from TumbleFish...which I get at Deviant Scrap (LOVE!!)

Ok enough stalling..back to packing
