For Week one of the challenge, the theme was Road Trip. To be honest, I just couldn't see myself creating a traditional "travel" scrap kit. So when thinking about it I thought more along the lines of "What other kinds of trips can you take in your life?" A Road Trip is nothing but a journey and even when someone goes to the same place their journey is always different from each and every other persons. So as I am a mom, I watch my children every day take the incredible journey of growing up, navigating thru childhood and the ways of the world. Figuring out who they are, who they want to be. It is one of the most important "Road Trips" each and every one of us takes.
So....that is where I came up with my "out side the box...taking five steps away from it and looking back thinking "um yeah...not even close to the beginning theme and idea, but its mine" :-) I hope you enjoy it!
